Santhi
‘Santhi’ is a heart wrenching story of a beautiful girl, who gets blinded in an unfortunate accident. Her rich father does his best to arrange her marriage but things do not materialize. Later, the story takes us back to the lives of two best friends Santhanam (Sivaji Ganesan) and Ramu (S.S. Rajendran), who return home after completing their education. Ramu is tricked into marrying Santhi (R.Vijayakumari) by his greedy uncle Parmasivam (M.R.Radha) and thus after marriage abandons the innocent girl. How is Santhi going to overcome her dreaded fate? At what cost will her peace be restored?
